What is collected

Browsing the portfolio collects no personal information: there are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this site. Like any web server, the hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the service.

If you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are stored so they can be answered. To limit spam, a one-way keyed hash of your IP address is stored with the message; the address itself is not kept.

How it is used

Messages are used only to reply to you. They are never sold, shared for marketing, or used for automated decisions. The legal basis is legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you chose to send.

Who processes it

How long it is kept

Contact messages are kept while the conversation is useful and deleted when no longer needed, or on request.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything you have sent, or object to its use. Email alexandra@thekaleidelope.com or use the contact form.

Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). The administration area is protected by individual accounts with hashed passwords.
